Monica Otten  is the alto for Mountain Creek Harmony. Monica has been singing Southern Gospel music her whole life. At age 7, she began playing piano by ear and began writing songs at age 16. She is currently a songwriter, as well as pianist and arranger for Mountain Creek Harmony. Monica has a degree in Music Education from UNCGreensboro and is currently a music teacher at an area middle school in Salisbury, NC. She is originally from Stedman, NC, but now resides in Granite Quarry, NC with her husband, Aaron, their son Samuel and their daughter, Katherine. Monica is a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Albemarle, NC and her life verse is Phillipians 1:6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.”
